Accounting integration

Connect Amazon, noon and Trendyol to Xero

Every settlement reaches Xero as a draft sales invoice, or a bill when it is negative, on the marketplace's contact, for your accountant to approve.

What reaches Xero

  • An invoice, not a journal

A positive settlement is a sales invoice (ACCREC), a negative one a bill (ACCPAY), on an Amazon, noon or Trendyol contact.

  • A VAT rate on the line

Of these programs, only Xero takes a tax rate on a line, so it enters Xero's VAT report when you choose one.

  • Deposit matching

The invoice equals the amount transferred, so it matches its bank deposit in one click.

  • One entry per closed settlement

Equal to the amount the marketplace transferred to you, or it is not sent.

  • From all your channels

Amazon settlements, Trendyol payouts, and noon weekly statements and FBN transfers.

  • One program at a time

You connect Xero or another program, never two, so no settlement is recorded twice.

How to connect

From Settings → Tax & accounting, click "Connect Xero" and approve in Xero.

And what it does not do

  • In your organisation's base currency only: a settlement in another currency is not sent.
  • With no rate chosen, VAT stays an ordinary line outside Xero's VAT report.

Common questions

Does Sellet approve anything in Xero on its own?+

No. What Sellet creates in Xero arrives as a draft for your accountant to approve. What it does when a settlement changes afterwards differs between programs, and is the next question.

What if a settlement changes after it reached Xero?+

Sellet corrects the invoice, draft or approved, unless it has a payment on it. When the settlement is withdrawn, it deletes a draft and voids an approved one.
